
£89 million in joint government and automotive industry funding has been awarded to 20 cutting-edge net zero technology projects.
The 20 winning projects (across four competitions) include:
- Hydrogen-powered off-road vehicles
- A lithium scale-up plant
- Revolutionary EV battery systems
- Net zero tractors
The investment, reinforces the UK as a world leader in zero emissions vehicle technology, and are projected to save nearly 65 million tonnes of CO2 from being emitted over the next 10 years.
